Mothers day in Nepal also known as Mata Tirtha Aunsi (मातातीर्थ औंसी) or “Aamako Mukh Herne Din” (आमाको मुख हेर्ने दिन) falls on new moon day of Baisakh (first month of Nepali calendar).
