About the Role
Genesis Web Technology is looking for a passionate WordPress Developer with a strong interest in creating modern, responsive, and high-performing websites. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of WordPress development and a willingness to learn and grow with our team.
Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Create and customize themes, plugins, and website functionalities.
- Convert designs into responsive WordPress websites.
- Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Optimize websites for performance, security, and usability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues.
- Work with databases and third-party APIs when required.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers on projects.
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of WordPress and PHP.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with WordPress themes and plugins.
- Understanding of responsive web design.
- Basic knowledge of MySQL and Git/GitHub is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and improve.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
